Duties

Fills in as a Lead IT/Telecommunications Installer with an essential focal point of Low Voltage ISP Twisted Pair Copper Cabling, FOC and related foundation.

Plans, Surveys, Installs, eliminates, ends, tests, investigates, fixes, examines, and maintains IT and Telecommunications Infrastructure including but not limited to: Twisted Pair Copper Cabling; FOC; AV; COAX; Multipurpose Low Voltage cabling and foundation; cupboards, racks and retires; Telephony Blocks; Patch Panels; establishing transport bars and circuits; channel, link plate and raceway.

·       Performs Site Surveys and assembles required information in verified design as assigned by task.

·       Installs IT/Telecommunications Equipment and devices as assigned by task.

·       Performs patching and cross-connect activities as allocated by the task.
