Technical Support Engineer

In this job, you will be liable for working closely with other support engineers, sales engineers and clients to understand client network setups and issues that they might be facing or easily solving tech support jobs requests about NSX SD-WAN products. You will utilize your expertise on Linux, APIs and MYSQL to build up root cause of client issues. Clients may go from large enterprises to worldwide telco service providers.

Some of the time this may include raising the issue inside and keeping open communication with partners about the progress. You will draw in clients by means of email and telephone and give convenient and exact data. One key target is provide prompt solution/workaround and direct clients until the issue can be settled.

Prerequisites:

  • Related knowledge working in a Support/Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team
  • Linux and shell scripting skills, for example, log reading and performance testing highly wanted.
  • Networking knowledge liked (HTTP, TCP, IP, subnetting)
  • Experience supporting a cloud service
  • General knowledge of ideas like multi-occupancy, password management, regular access gives that clients may have with a cloud service
  • Knowledge in REST API's, strut and JSON
  • Experience utilizing/building REST customers (twist, mailman, python)
  • Fundamental experience of MySQL
  • Experience troubleshooting web applications utilizing browser developer devices (for example console, network request log, debugger, and so forth);
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and or more.
  • Investigate/troubleshoot the client's current environment, gather extra data about the issue and resolve network performance issues
  • Rapidly survey and understand client’s issues and business affects
  • Capacity to reproduce client reported issues in the lab environment, work with improvement and QA to confirm and fixes before they are turned out to our clients
